Welcome to the chaos as I navigate these murky waters of WordPress.org. I am excited and nervous to get started. I’ve been wanting to do this for some time, to start a travel blog (and make some YouTube videos). I was honestly intimidated because it’s such a saturated space online, until I realised that I have some unique experiences to share. Now that I am a mama to a nearly two year old boy, I have continued my love of travelling light when I travel with him. Now not always! It doesn’t always go to plan (like most things in parenthood). But we are lucky enough to have travelled quite a lot in the last two years, often me alone with him, and I have learned a lot through trial and error – a lot of error.

I’m planning to share the lessons I’ve learned, tricks and tips picked up along the way. I’m passionate about sharing the message that you don’t need to spend a tonne of money to enjoy your trip. That starts with the packing. I was frustrated to find that so many how-to pack light blog posts and videos online end up being a huge shopping list. And while I do think that yes, some quality pieces can make life easier while you travel with your little one, the real solution is to bring less things.
